Guest guest
Suzi, I am now, and have been, on the Depo for many years! So rarely do I have a period. I did actually just get over a 3 day one and to my surprise my CP pain levels were actually less, but OH those cramps! BUT I am not eating alot anymore because eating increases pain. And of course, with eating less, just my luck, I am NOT losing weight either!!! I can tell you that when I was at my worst point with the CP and SOD, my FNP/OB said my cervix looked " mad " and she wanted to do a scrape job on me and see if that helped any. She talked about it for about 4 years, even before my diagnosis of CP and SOD. But then with the CP diagnosis and all, she wanted to wait until that got taken care of before doing the scrape job. Well, I had many stents over 4 months time (won't be doing that again) and when I was through with that, I went back to the FNP/OB and AMAZINGLY my cervix was exactly the way it was supposed to be! Not a single problem to be seen since. We kinda thought there might be a correlation between the 2 and with your news, I think I think I can have positive proof. I would love to bring this article to my FNP/OB since she is the one treating me for my CP and SOD at this time and let her in one this. I thank you for the news and hope your doctor can find that article. I don't know what to tell you about taking estrogen and all. Except if you had problems with it, then it isn't worth taking it. Thats my outlook on ANY drug and CP. NOTHING is worth a CP attack. I haven't been advised to have a hysterectomy again for more than 20 years now. In fact, after I had my son the doctor said he thought that " fixed " my endo problems. And I have read where that can be a " cure " for some women. I do the italics because I am not so sure that there is a " cure " or " fix " for anything anymore. Let me know what you decide and about the article. Sandy in Ca -------------- Original message -------------- Hi Sandy- I actually requested that article about the endo and pancreatitis from my doctor today, and he is looking for it.
