Guest guest
i'm Vicky and i have a 3 yo son with autism. he's been on GF/CF diet for 9 months and hasn't helped a whole lot. actually his yeast issues got worse and worse and his stools continued to be really really loose. so i decided to look into SCD diet. about 5 days ago i took all the grains out of his diet and the second day he had his first well formed stool in soooo long and they continued to be like that every day since then. but he won't eat any fruits or vegetables ( except peas) i've managed to hide some in the patties and sausages i'm making but i want to cut down on the meet too since he's having ammonia problems. he's also allergic to eggs and some fruits and vegetables . the last couple of days i've been making some things from nut flours. i know...that's stage 3 but...what can i give him for breakfast? he likes a lot crunchy/ hard/ chewy stuff. any ideas on what i could do? i would really appreciate any suggestions. thank you Vicky
Guest guest
Hi, Vicky, Congratuations on the good stools! Yes, as you know it is really too early start the nuts. Have you eliminated all illegals? Did you do the intro diet? Here is a great post about non-egg breakfast ideas: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/message/69298 mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
