I found the VitaMix does a first-rate job on almonds, making them as fine as any

I've seen commercially. The pecans didn't come out as well, because they almost

immediately turned into nut butter, without going through a flour stage. I can

see where drying them would solve that problem.

Yes, all of the " juicers " say to stay away from the vitamix. They recommend

single gear juicers that preserve the nutrients of the raw fruits/veggies.
