Guest guest
I found the VitaMix does a first-rate job on almonds, making them as fine as any I've seen commercially. The pecans didn't come out as well, because they almost immediately turned into nut butter, without going through a flour stage. I can see where drying them would solve that problem. Judy Re: VitaMix--OT Yes, all of the " juicers " say to stay away from the vitamix. They recommend single gear juicers that preserve the nutrients of the raw fruits/veggies. - <maxxelder (AT) yahoo (DOT) <mailto:maxxelder%40yahoo.com> com> wrote: A friend of mine with cancer researched various juicers, etc. and told me that the VitaMix gets too hot so that it destroys all the nutrients in whatever is being processed. I don't know where she found that information, so I don't have anything in writing but thought I would mention it for anyone considering buying one. __________________________________________________
