Guest guest
Eileen; For the protien quota I have switched to protien powders and tofu. Yes, tofu.... I have learned to make it into so many tasty dishes. My pancreatitis is always triggered by high triglicerides. We thought it as alcohol.... but after not drinking for months and another hospitilization due to pancreatitis we figure it was triglycerides ( my diet). I figured out it was triglicerides after obtaining my admission and ER visit test results. Jokingly, I told my doctor that I expect part of his fee as a " kick- back " , he just chuckled. Ok then, I'll help pay for his med school student loans so he will continue to help others. Dick Eileen, you will get better! You just have to start being very careful about your diet & exercise, learn what triggers you pancreas to become uncooperative, and go from there. I am not totally familiar with your specific situation, but you are in the right place to start understanding what is happening to you. P.P.S. Mark A. is a great resource. > > That is my diet too.I wonder if that will ever get better? > I worry about the lack of protien. > > Eileen >
