Guest guest
Dr. did not tell me to contact you. He did however tell me he was concerned about you and that you were upset about the possibility of having another surgery and was trying to talk you into the Beger. He knew we were friends, obviously, as you had asked about me in your visit and I you during my visit. Knowing me as well as he does, he knew I would want to talk with you and encouraged that. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with you and feel that had my husband not come in we could have talked for much longer. We do seem to have a great deal more in common then just cp. We are both pistols!! I'm glad that you have found peace, it is a very elusive feeling to capture. Hold onto it tightly and your faith; I have no doubt the both will take you far. Guest guest
, Thanks again! I have decided to go ahead and do it. I am going to try and wait until January. My hubby can get vacation days then and take off with me. My greatest fear is not being in the hospital or having the surgery but being alone. I don't know what I would have done last time without him to help me. He stood up to the gosh awful nurses I had and encouraged me. That is why I was able to get out in 4 days. He is my other half in every way and we have never been apart more than 2 days in almost 15 years. He doesn't want me to do it without him there either. So if Dr. Adam's can do it in January then that is when it will be. I appreciate your encouragement and concern. You are a great person. We do have a lot in common! I didn't realize how much until we spoke on the phone. Thanks again and I hope that you can get that job you wish for. You deserve it and you would be such an advocate for people with cp. You would give some of them a voice they never knew was available!
