My sensitive son could never use playdough (he is 7 now so it is no

longer an issue) We got a gluten free dough from

www.discountschoolsupply.com (I think made by colorations?) that he

used instead. They just kept that in the classroom for him. ANother

option we used when his dough was backordered once (replacing it for a

new school year) was to have him wear gloves (like doctor gloves) when

playing with playdough. His classmates thought it was great and

wanted to wear them too.

PBS Modeling Dough

· 1 cup warm water

· 1 cup salt

· 2 cups nut flour

· Bowl and spoon for mixing

· Optional: egg white, vegetable oil, or food coloring

1. Mix water, salt, and flour in a bowl and knead until smooth.

2. Make a little model with the dough. Brush with egg white or vegetable oil for

an easy glaze, or paint with food coloring before baking.

3. Oven: Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown. Microwave: for small

sculptures, bake

on high for about 7 minutes, or a little longer for bigger sculptures.

4. Let cool and then create more of your own models for your home.
