Guest guest
First let me say....TSK TSK Jon. We are supposed to wait at least 2 weeks before we add soft foods and we both know that time does not come until next week. Just what you needed to hear from a littermate huh? I hope you are feeling okay now! One more reminder to everyone about the hotels. For Hawthorn, you do not have to even go through MED-STAY to get the rate. I already had a reservation at the Extended Stay and after one night checked out and transferred to Hawthorn. I could not get a hold of MEDSTAY and called the hotel directly explained it and they were great. Just something to keep in mind, ot was really great to have a separate living room and bedroom and more of a true kitchen. We knew that we could not spend a week in a plain hotel room. I very highly recommend the Hawthorn Suites. They have breakfast for the eating person with you and great 4 oz. sized yogurts. It is next to a little shopping strip with a Grocery and lots of places to eat nearby. Be sure to try the Egg Drop Soup at China One on the way to Hawthorn. Very cheap and VERY tasty for post-ops. Hope that helps...all is still good with me although I am ready to eat some food. Gonna try to stay on the liquids as long as possible though. Later, Mara MGB 11/22/2000 275/258/135 PS....Duh...it took me awhile to realize that our stinkies are orange- yellow because of that horrendous Citrucel. I am guessing that lasts quite awhile particularly if we are on mostly liquids. Yuck!
