Guest guest
I'm about to make a first attempt at goat yogurt...... I'm PRETTY sure I have all the particulars right. My oven seems to hold a temperature of between 38 - 43 degrees celcius. I have goats milk (not the freshest source, is pasteurised and from the supermarket - but at least its something), and I have my commercial Natural Set yogurt. The last thing I need to find out is how much of a commercial yogurt to use? I can find lots of information about progurt and other powder starters but nothing about using actual yogurt as a starter. Can anybody help me?? Thanks, - Mum to (21mths, GDD & Autistic traits)
Guest guest
Hi , What are the ingredients of Natural Set yogurt.? What probiotic strains does it contain? From : I only need to use only 1/4 cup of commercial yogurt per quart for starter. Sometimes it just looks so good I use a heaping [3/8 cup]. It seems to turn out the same.
