Friendly headaches to Cindy

Cindy,

The next time your friend gets huffy at you about your refusing to

give her any of your prescription meds when she has a headache, you

might just tell her that to do so would be illegal, and you would hate

for her, (or you, for that matter), to ever get into any trouble

because of it. If anything were to ever happen to her, and it became

public knowledge that you had given her your medicine, you could both

get in serious trouble. I know that this is highly speculative, but

I've known it to happen.

Just tell her you're afraid to take a risk like that, and if she

really has headaches bad enough to require prescribed medicines, that

she needs to talk to her doctor about getting some help. You

shouldn't have to be made out to be the bad guy just because you need

to keep your medicine for your own legitimate pain.

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi

Heidi,

i had already pointed this out to her,and her reply was. " like i'm going

to tell anyone " .that still does not matter to me,i know it is illegal.and that

is not the only reason i won't share.as i said i need them to bad,and as you

said if she needs them so badly, then she should go to the dr. and get her own.

oh well, it has'nt been mentioned between us since,i think my feelings were hurt

because of her lack of understanding of how painful this disease is.but we have

been best friends since we were 14&12,and have been thru ALOT together.and i am

getting used to the " lack of understanding " from people.the only people i feel

truly know are the folks on this board. and my hubby has been pretty

wonderful, too! hope you have a good day!!
