Guest guest
This is something very new for us. My son has never had trouble with constipation or diarrhea. He initially had a little in the beginning with die-off and that was solved. Lately I've noticed (last few days) that his belly seems distended. This has never happened before, ever. Several things changed around the 3rd month SCD. That's when everything went nuts if any of you have noticed by my emails. I have noticed a little bit of orange spots in his poop, so I'm assuming he's just started not digesting all his carrots lately also, maybe? I don't know if all these unsual things collectively meant something? I thought yeast could be a cause of the bloated belly, but he never had yeast problems even in the beginning. Is there possibly another cause? He does part of a teaspoon of dripped SCD yogurt once a day and probiotics once or twice a day. It is the Nature's Sunshine L. Acodophilis, but I open it and and never let him consume the capsule itself. I think the capsule was the problem earlier when he took it. Should I worry or not? Guest guest
This is exactly the reason that Stan Kurtz has suggested that we get IGG tests for our kids. What happens is that after the big problems are resolved by SCD, the minor ones become aparent. Someone once said it's like when you drain a lake. When the water is there, it all looks flat. Remove the water and you can see what is sharp and sticking up out of the ground. It was only after I was on SCD that I realized I was sensitive to carrots and onions, and yes, I did have a problem with yeast. Honestly, my insides were too messed up beforehand, to see any specific problem. My general health was anything but healthy. Now I am feeling better generally, but can't eat carrots and onions. It also pointed out to me quite clearly, how much I need dental care. I'll bet your son does have a yeast problem, but more than that, I'll bet there are still foods in his diet that he should be avoiding. bftodd wrote: This is something very new for us.
