Guest guest
Kimber, I had a long honeymoon of feeling good and doing well that I really can't complain now. I do take the norco 10, but admit I wait until I can't stand it anymore before doing so. I should take it at the first sign of pain, by I hate the feeling they give me. If it gets really bad then I move onto the percocet. But with me having to drive, I do try to take nothing at all. My son could walk home as he's old enough and we live close enough to the high school, but with me being a stay at home mom on purpose (not because of the old pancreas) I do try to do all I can with him. And it's always either the pancreas acting up or the SOD. Not usually the 2 together, so that is a blessing! I did clean pretty good today after last nights awful pain episode and did so well cleaning my husband joked today that the pain pills are a plus. I do keep the house clean, but I super cleaned closets and the pantry and my desk, etc. Just kept going. But I almost felt as if I owed it to him somehow as he bought me a 17 " widescreen laptop for my birthday and our anniversary. (BIG GRIN!!! SUPER NICE) Were you able to hear any of the thunderbirds in Vallejo today? They were so loud here. I did take near the AirBase after school to watch them practice. We are going to the airshow this weekend. So excited to do so. Hope your doing well Kimber. Sandy in CA. -------------- Original message -------------- Sandy, sorry that yours is worse than that most of the time. I've found that this pain can get so bad my pain level reaches an 8 with this though, especially if I don't take my pain meds when it starts. Guest guest
I LOVE airshows. Spent every Memorial day with my brothers and father at airshows, watching the Thunderbirds or the Blue ANgels. I get such a thrill out of them. Guest guest
Sandy, I can understand not wanting to take the meds because you are driving. I don't drive, so it's not a consideration I have to make about taking my pain meds. Nice present! No, I didn't hear the Thunderbirds, but I didn't know to listen for them either. I hope the airshow was a good one! I'm slowly feeling better. I actually managed half a sandwich for lunch today so I'm hoping I'll be able to eat without problems fairly soon. Just want to take it slow and not backslide. Hope you have some pain free days soon. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
