Guest guest
Hi.. I hope today is better for you. I am finding the same thing. I actually went to the mall today and tried on some pants that sit really low on me. (I usually hate them).. talk about comfort plus!.. even when I bloat.. it only gets a little uncomfortable. I hope that helps. > > As far as bloating and distention go, mine seems really bad lately. I have taken to wearing pants 2 sizes to big to accomodate my stomache. I can't stand the feel of tight clothing on my stomache and pancreas. Although it looks like I am carrying a " load " in my pants in the back, they are so big, the waistband works. Wish I could find pants that come in tall (35 " inseam) that are also bootcut at the least. Being tall and slightly overweight, tapered jeams look so bad on me. I feel like a bowling pin when I wear them. LOL!! Not flattering at all. > > Sandy in Ca >

Guest guest
Hmmmmmmm... Low rise. Theres a thought. I will see if I can find any in tall. You see, I have been tall all my life. So most of the time when I wore long jeans, they were floods because we couldn't find a tall length. So I was wearing ankle length pants when it wasn't cool. Now it's cool to do so but not in my eyes. At least not on me. It wasn't until high school that I found a brand name jean that was long enough to wear with not only tennies, but high heels. In those I stand 6 " 4. Anyway the jeans were called Chemendefers (SP) and they had a little red train for a tag on the side. Thanks for the info on the low rise jeans. Guest guest
Sandy, if you tend to wear tshirts and shirts over the top of your pants/jeans, is it worth wearing maternity ones? that would give you so much comfort. That's what I have to do after my surgeries. Even now I can't wear anything tight around my waist/abdomen.. Ward

Guest guest
Sandy, It is not so much how I look as how awful it feels. The pressure becomes unbearable. I think I am going to bust and the pain is intensified I told my husband yesterday that I just don't want to live like this anymore. The pain is just too much and then I have all of the stuff with CF. Thank you for listening. My prayers are for no fat pant days for all of us!! HaHa. Guest guest
Fat Pants! That is what my first wife used to call her pregnancy clothes. What a scream. I never thought I would hear you ladies discussing maternity clothes. Funny Story - We were getting ready to go out on a Saturday night when she was in her last trimester. She bought a new dress. I was sitting in the living room of our apartment watching TV. It was probably " Dance Fever " with Danny Theriault. (Remember that?) She walked in and asked, " How do I look? " She had a big smile on her face and twirled around so that I could get all the angles. I said, " Wow. You look great! " She turned to me and tears began to run down her face. She said, " I am so FAT! " and turned and ran back into the bedroom. I just shook my head and said to the TV, " You can't win for losing. " I know how you feel with the pain Deb. I pray that you get better soon. Best Regards, Jerry/NC ***************************************************** > > Sandy, It is not so much how I look as how awful it feels. Guest guest
I LOVE LOW-RISE... I even roll some of my sweatpants down when the waistband starts to get tight. I dread when low-rise goes out of style. Even with low-rise, when I get my pants off at night, there is a distict line of demarkation where the waist band was... it's always a little bigger on top... looks gawdawful funny. I am sure glad my boyfriend loves me even when my gut is shaped like a peanut! Come to think of it, all my problems started about 1996, when I went to the hospital for a severe " attack " of stomach pain that radiated into my back. I was screaming it hurt so bad (comparable to labor). That was the second time, but it was much worse than the first time. Docs loaded me up with morphine and that settled me. But really, that's when the bloating and all that non-fun started... which got progressively worse over time. (Progressively worse... now there's an oxymoron!) Question... with treatment (enzymes with meals and stuff), does the bloating ever get better???? I don't relish the thought of living the rest of my life this way. T. > > Hmmmmmmm... > > Low rise. Guest guest
I just bought something that stretches the waistband of your pants up to 5 inches, while the pants are wet. It will be here thursdaya dn I can't wait to say if it works so I can wear some pants that fit the rest of my body. Sandy -------------- Original message -------------- I LOVE LOW-RISE... Guest guest
, This probably won't help you, but I don't get bloated like that anymore. I guess you have to wait for burn out before that goes away. ;-( With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
