Guest guest
My first yogurt disaster: My dd and I got a batch of yogurt started yesterday afternoon. Later in the evening I unthinkingly unplugged it in order to plug in the mixer, to make cookie dough for my other daughters who were having a sleepover with a friend. There it sat all night. I found it this morning. Can I plug it back in and start counting down from now, again, or should I throw it out and start a new batch? Arg. I'm so irritated with myself. Goat milk is expensive. If the yogurt maker isn't plugged in and hasn't started to " gel " yet you may be able to save it by reheating the milk, cooling and adding fresh starter.
