Guest guest
I read in the manual that patients who take the depo-prevara(sp?) shot (birth control) experience post nausea. What does that mean? Does this mean right after the surgery or for a period after the surgery?
Guest guest
Dr. R does not recommend this form of birth control. He recommends barrier methods. Because I did sign the no sex in exchange for surgery agreement (only kidding) pregnancy is not a concern to me. (Real reason is I'm old)...but I did tune in to what he said and it was clear that many methods will no longer work! Maybe one of the younger girls, to whom this is very important, can answer you. Guest guest
I was receiving depo shots prior to surgery and didnt experience any nausea. I didnt continue receiving them after surgery being that they are unreliable and not recomended as a form of birth control lollowing surgery. Im not sure how long after surgery it would be safe to resume using depo as a form of birth control.
