I thought coconut flour was legal and I was about to buy it on the

Digestive Wellness website but they have a warning that says it maybe

too complex for ASD children. Is anyone aware of this warning and what

it means?

Thanks, April

Hi April,

Coconut flour is legal but it is one of the more advanced nuts

because of all of the fiber.

If there has been a good reduction in symptoms you could try a small

amount of coconut flour and see if it is tolerated.

Coconut flour, although legal, is very fibrous.... consider it a very advanced

food.

Fresh or unsweetened, shredded coconut and coconut flour are all legal.
