Guest guest
Well I take Novolog insulin and lantaus. I check my blood sugars four times a day. I usually take 50 units since it runs so high. I take the lantaus 45 units every morning and nite. Tenncare did pay for me to have a insulin pump. I decided not to have it put in because it was recalled and my auntie has one and she gained a lot of weight. She thinks that since she has the pump she is able to eat whatever she likes. My current weight right now is 170lbs and I am 5'11. My blood sugars can run anywhere from 275-HI (which on my monitor is way above 800) my eye sight changes very slightly actually. The doc's are always amazed they aren't worse. I just think I have my grandfather watching over me and no matter how sick I get he is going to help me through it. I went to the doc and he wanted to put me in the hospital because my heart is beating so fast. It seems my thyroid has decided to come back with a vengenence. I am suppose to be on total bed rest all week and if my heart doesn't calm down more then likely I will be put in the hospital. I did do a sleep study and I am suppose to be getting a CPak machine to help me sleep at nite. My doc has put me on lunesta and it has been doing okay. It is a lot better then ambien. With ambien I tend to want to cook stuff (bacon, pizza and fish) but I fall asleep before I can turn off the stove. Lucky for me Jay has been at home and got to the food before it could start a fire. It seems that I am going to be going back to Vandy yet again. That is one of the best hospital's in the state when it comes to pancreatitis. It sucks though cause I become a test subject. Sorry this is starting to ramble so I am off to lay down and rest. Hope that everyone has had a pain free weekend. > > > > > Keba, > > You certainly do have a myriad of medical problems, your list is > frightening!!
