Guest guest
HI Deb: Sorry I took so long to answer your email..I've been offline for a few days now...I've been feeling a bit better now after the celiac block of a month ago. That's how it was with the last one I had as well...I felt awful for about three weeks afterwards and then I gradually starting feeling better and then two months later I gradually started making that slow descent into the land of facing the possibility that I might need to go the ER. But I hate it there so much as our local one just doesn't know how to treat a panc patient. Anyway, to answer your question: Yes, that is ALL I can eat without vomiting profusely. The last time that happened was last Thanksgiving when my Mom was visiting from CA to cook us all a good T'day HUGE meal. I stupidly thought that the mashed potatoes couldn't possibly hurt me (later turned out that since we had purchased the full T'day meal that our grocery store offers - precooked, etc., that the mashed potatoes were made with CREAM and BUTTER!!!) I also stupidly ate a piece of the apple pie not even considering (Duh!! Stupid me!!) that the crust was made with LARD.....oh my Lord!! I spent the following day in a full blown attack and vomiting profusely!! Needless to say, since that day I only consume the foods that I know I won't have trouble with. My system is SO sensitive that I purchased the Total cereal once and even that caused problems for me...don't really know why but I DO know that's what it was because I kept trying to eating it and I got the same reaction every time!! Yes, I worry about the protein also.....I s'pose I get some in the milk (1%) that I put on my cereal but that can't amount to much.. Take care > > Hi , DO you only eat the few foods that you mentioned in your last > post? I can only eat pureed food for a year and a half now. I wish I > could vomit some times. I am so nauseate most of the time and I eat > anyway, no fat at all and very little carbs, maybe a half a piece of > bread per day. My mouth gets so dry. I guess it is all about food. Guest guest
, Do you have problems with sugar? I seem to and it is so addictive. The fats I stay away from entirely. And any wheat is bad. Do you have a lot of diarrhea? Sorry to be so blunt, but I figure we all seem to speak so freely here. I don't mean to offend. Please let me know about the sugar.
