Guest guest
I have a few questions. My daughter has been on SCD since August and I recently purchased Scdophilus™ Lactobacillus Acidophilus And Prozymes #1. I was wondering do you give them at the same time and do you give them  with food ? #2.She is currently on Antibiotics for an ear infection and nystatin for Thrush. Should I start the new supplements now or wait until she is done with the medications? #3 Do you give your children a multivitamin? # 4 She is non verbal- so she is not able to tell me why she is angry ...but has started lashing out - very brief moment of anger then back to her normal happy self. ( Mostly to me and her teacher) Wondering if you think this could be related to die off? Thank you for your help Mom to Nahomie CP, BI - 8 yrs old Communicates with sign language and verbal sounds SCD since August ________________________________________________________________________ Email and AIM finally together. I was wondering do you give them at the same time and do you give them  with food ?>>>>> The Prozymes should be given before meals. If you forget you can give with the meal. It may be best to give the SCDophilus at the end of the meal (this helps the good bacteria in the stomach) or with snacks. <<<<#2.She is currently on Antibiotics for an ear infection and nystatin for Thrush. Should I start the new supplements now or wait until she is done with the medications?>>>> > A probiotic like the SCDophilus can help replenish the bacteria killed by antibiotics. You should give it at least 2-3 hours after (and before) taking an antibiotic. <<<< #3 Do you give your children a multivitamin? >>> Many do give their children legal multi's. Some are listed at http://www.pecanbread.com/new/Sup1.html <<<<< # 4 She is non verbal- so she is not able to tell me why she is angry ...but has started lashing out - very brief moment of anger then back to her normal happy self. ( Mostly to me and her teacher)  Wondering if you think this could be related to die off? >>>> It sounds like it could be die off. See http://www.pecanbread.com/new/temporarysymptoms.html Epsom salt baths and/or activated charcoal may help. <<<<<Thank you for your help > > > Mom to Nahomie > CP, BI - 8 yrs old > Communicates with sign language and verbal sounds > SCD since August >>>> Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and
