Guest guest
I just read about making coconut kefir. They used body ecology starter. Does anyone know if the starter is SCD legal? I have Progurt. I wonder if you could use that as a starter. Can anyone tell me? Thanks. Here's a link to the body ecology starter. https://shop.bodyecology.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BE011 Diane SCD 6weeks
Guest guest
If this kefir is made from " young green coconut water " , it's not legal for SCD. I don't know if the BED starter is legal. You'd have to list the bacterial strains here and then we could reply. Kefir of any kind is to be considered advanced. I think there is kefir info on Elaine's website, www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info ... in the Knowledge Base under " K " . Patti coconut kefir I just read about making coconut kefir. The recipe for homemade coconut milk and some nut milk yogurt recipes (to help get you started with nut yogurt) are at http://www.pecanbread.com/new/recipes/coconutmilk.html http://www.pecanbread.com/new/recipes/almondyogurt.html Sheila, SCD Feb. 2001, UC 23yrs, PCOD 22yrs mom of and
