Chrissy.

I am sure you have already, but if not, you should check out a software called

SpySweeper. If the problem is pop ups and spam and such (which it sounds like

it could be some of it) then that will help elimainate those problems. It is

good software and you can download it over the internet if you'd like. I always

prefer to have the cd on hand, but thats just me. Also if you haven't the funds

for that right now, have you installed Microsofts anti-spyware? It's free. And

it really works for being a beta software.

When you use these to sweep your system make sure you disable your anti-virus

software and also disable system restore. There can be nasty little files hiding

in those applications and you will never find them or delete them if you don't

disable the 2. And remember to re-enable system restore after you do this.

Hope this can help in some way.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your posts but my

computer has been giving me a fit. I am going to have to take it in

to somebody to look at but my son and I had done some tinkering on it

this weekend and it atleast, so far, is behaving somewhat. Hope I'm

not jinxing myself.
