Jeanette,

Feel free to post any questions here that one of us may be able to

help you with. No need to apologize for being long winded, it's

difficult to explain your problems without telling us what you have

already about your husband. He's been through such an ordeal already,

and it's a lot to have happen to such a young couple. There are

already a few of us that are ALWAYS long winded....(WINK)

....unfortunately I inherited my father's methods of communication and

can't explain anything in less than several paragraphs or more!

If they are planning to send your husband home soon, you need to be

in touch with your insurance company, to arrange to have home health

care for your husband. Usually someone from hospital administration

will set this up for you, but if they don't, you need to ask for it.

Then they will send a home health nurse to the house as often as

necessary to help with any medications, IV's or anything your husband

may need.

If your husband isn't able to recover from this horrific experience

and go back to work, you should look into applying immediately for

Social Security Disability insurance for him if he has been working

long enough to qualify. He can even apply online - I'll post the

weblink in another post.
