Guest guest
Hello my friends, My thoughts have been with all of you all week. I miss talking with you all & pray for you all daily. My new job is nice & very challenging. I have never been an office manager so it should be interesting. I am not a real assertive person so it will be a challenge for me but I am pretty confident I will do fine. The girls are all young enough to be my daughters so I feel like the Mom. I definitely know how to do that but I tend to be a co-dependent at times so..... we'll see. At least I am aware. Anyway, in the health department. I was feeling pretty darn good & wham! It hit me like a brick last night. The same old pain I have grown to know & HATE. I will go back on my enzymes & prilosec today & call my G.I. doc. What I fear is that going so long with gallbladder disease has damaged my pancreas permanently. I am also concerned about Lupus as it was mentioned to me but never followed up on. I did have a positive ANA last year & was diagnosed with fibromyalgia years ago. My lower back on both sides (haunches), hurt/ache alot & this is gross but my urine has a brownish tint. I know Lupus can affect the kidneys so that concerns me quite a bit. I have alot of issues to discuss with my G.I. so I will put in a call today. To the person who's husband is in the nursing home (I'm sorry my short term memory stinks); I don't know if you work or stay home but my suggestion (& it is only a suggestion) is if you are able, bring him home & check into home health care. They tried putting my Mom in a nursing home straight out of the hospital & we brought her home. It was alot of work but worth it in the end. We did the same for my Father & my Brother. My prayers are with you & your husband. Hugs to all, K.
