Guest guest
I went to see my primary physician since my surgeon is out of town. I was out of pain meds (for the suspected adhesions as a source of this awful pain) and am not scheduled to see the surgeon for another 2 weeks. Well she took one look and said that I do have another hernia. I just about broke down on the spot when she said that. Some of ya'll may know of the tortures I have endured because of hernias after having the tp-auto ict. I just started crying, something I dont do often around others. I told her of the last 2 surgeries and she was very empathetic. She wrote for the pain meds as well as for Ativan since I am so upset. I asked for a sleep aid and she wrote for ambian CR. She said it is a new type of ambian that works better. I just cant believe this is happening. I have had 10 major abdominal surgeries in less then 3 years and my body is just shot. Not to mention my emotional health. I just dont think I can handle any more. Every time I think about it I start to cry. I think I am loosing my mind and have already lost faith that I will ever get well enough to return to my profession. I cant believe this is happening again. Thanks for listening and I do hope that every body is doing as well as possible and looking forward to a pleasant weekend. Warmly, (SC)
Guest guest
Dear : So, so sorry. Please try to think of this as just a bump in the road and not a roadblock. I know you've been through sooo much, but overall, aren't you in better shape now than you were 1 year ago? What did the doctor recommend for this latest hernia? Or do you have to wait to see the surgeon? Please remember there are so many of us sending positive energy your way and loving thoughts and heartfelt prayers. You can get through this, too. Guest guest
Oh , I am so sorry. :-( I have been reading your posts about this over the weeks, your fears and struggle with this. Hon, can't offer anything but a cyber hug, but it's a big one for you. Guest guest
, I;m so sorry to hear your news. It seems like its one thing after another, but you always seem to get through the bad spots and look to better days. There will be a good tomorrow for you, maybe not the tomorrow in one day, but soon. I will pray for you and if they do a surgical repair for this hernia, I hope it will be the end of all your problems for good. I know you feel like you take one step forward and slide back two, but don't lose your faith. It is a rough time and you need your faith to struggle through. I know you'll do it. There are too many people praying for you. May the Ativan and Ambien calm you so you get enough sleep to think clearly and get through this setback. Never give up your hope. You will be blessed with the perfect job for you at the right time. Take care of you right now and I'll be praying and thinking about you as you recover. Guest guest
Chrissy: I was so sorry to read this news. I know how much you've been thru and I was sure that you had it licked it when you had the tp/ict. If there is anything I can do please let me know. You'e always been such an inspiration to me and I want you to know that during some of the worst times I've had I always known that you've been through all of this already and you did it like a champ so it has helped me to try and hang in there when all seems lost. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. love P.S. When you're up to it can you please let me know how the pain of adhesions feels? I'm wondering if that is the cause of this burning pain I've been having. It always seems to start when the bowel movement is still sort of high up in the intestinal passage and then it gradually tapers off when it moves further down. I am just wondering if it could be adhesions from where they sort of re- route the ducts when they take out your gall bladder...or something from my hysterectomy from 4 yrs ago or from the sphincterotomy that Dr. Lehman did. Guest guest
, I am so sorry girl. I know you don't want anymore surgery. Especially after the He** you went through after this last one. Is there anything I can do? If you need to talk feel free to call me.
