Guest guest
Hello, I just wanted to thank everyone for their answers to my questions. Mark, your site was just what I was looking for. Thank you so much for the information! I am no longer going crazy with thousands of questions and no one who is willing to answer them. Oh, how refreshing knowledge is.. I am leaving my husband in the nursing home right now, because all of a sudden they are taking very good care of him. Actually, they are being much more interactive than at the hospital, talking about what meds he wants to try, what they are doing/why, likely surgeries, etc instead of keeping him in the dark. Nice change over the last 6 1/2 weeks. Oh, and they have been letting him have clear liquids for the past two days, a step in the right direction- cross our fingers that it works this time... He is now being taken off of the TPN for 4 hours a night, checking blood sugars two hour into it, so he can at least get out of the nursing home for an hour or two. He is thrilled. I am cautiously optimistic. Anyway, I'll be lurking. What a fantastic support group all of you have- I look forward to getting to know everyone better in the future. Yours with thanks, Jeanette & Matt
