Guest guest
Hi Sandy: Thanks for the reply. Well, at least I know I'm not the only one to actually gain weight. However, like I said if this edema went away I think I'd drop 20 lbs right off the bat....my feet/ankles, calves are HUGE. I actually had to recently buy some winter boots in a half size bigger than what I normally wear because I can't fit into any of my shoes anymore..and this is Imelda Marcos you're talking to here, the queen of SHOES!!! I got them in a wide width something else I never had to do before. Yes I too, was in the l-xl in the juniors dept...ut not I'm heading to a size 16 in the ladies dept. Funny though because while that size fits me in the belly, it's all baggy in the legs (and I'm not exactly skinny in the legs either. So that's how I sort of gauge that part of this is water weight. Oh well..... Hang in there and thanks for writing back!!
Guest guest
I hope I will not have to trot out my diatribe on the benefits and beauty of the large female body. My god, just because Hollywood and everyone else thinks skinny women look good doesn't mean we all have to. Give me a large woman anyday. Thay are simply more beautiful. If in doubt study the paintings of the old masters like Reubens. Listen large ladies (Whoa alliteration!!), if you are sad about your weight write to me and I will cheer you up!
