Guest guest
I had to butt in on this too. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago and they said the same thing. When they went to do it laproscopic, they had to crush my stones. Mine had calcified together. It one was big stone. They were shocked. That is why the sonogram etc. didn't show it as some stones. My gallbladder just looked enlarged. Angie in SC " The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way. Guest guest
Hi, I saw in your post that no stones showed in any of your tests. No stones showed in any of my tests either, however when I had my gallbladder removed 2 1/2 weeks ago my gallbladder was literally full of stones (over a dozen). Tests are not full proof. Just wanted to share that bit of information with you. Good luck. K.
Guest guest
- sorry to butt-in. But my tests were the same. No stones, every thing's fine. Yeah, right! My damn gallbladder was dead - necrotic - when it was removed. Jerry/NC > > Hi, > > I saw in your post that no stones showed in any of your tests. Guest guest
I had my g-bladder removed when i was 21 or 22. The only way they knew it was full of stones was when they did an ultrasound. All my test's had came back negative for stones. The doc's just thought it was another attack of CP since I hadn't had an attack since I was 15. Lucky for me my mom was an RN and knew all the sign's for G- bladder pain or they would have missed it. I don't have the bad scars though since they did mine with a lazer. > > I had to butt in on this too. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago and > they said the same thing. Guest guest
Jerry, It amazes me that the couldn't see all those stones on an ultrasound. Our gallbladders aren't that big. Mine must have been full. Go figure, ha? I wonder if mine was dead. No one really said. Hmmm..... Take care Jerry, K. p.s. My CT showed that my pancreas was normal as well.
