My son is taking " Pearls " by Enzymatic and the active cultures are:

lactobacullus acidophilus and bifidobacterium longum (this is the one I

was questioning). I was told that the " bead " type probiotics get

deeper into the intestines than the " capsule " type.

Thanks, Maureen

Sorry, but this is not a legal probitoic. The L. acidophilus is

great , but the bifidobacterium is ilegal - it has been very bad for

SCDers. Many have ended up in bad flares because of it. Some flares

are slow to start with it.The majority clear up shortly after

stopping the bifidum strains.

It also contains pectin and soy lecithin, which are illegal

ingredients.

Are you able to use the yogurt? The bacteria in yogurt are able to

travel farther in the body because they are active, and are

encapsulated by the dairy in the yogurt.
