Dick,

Just a question here. If you have to take so many Norco's through the day, then

why aren't you on a continuose (sp) release patch for pain. It appears that you

are medicated all day taking these, I would assume that a duragesic or fentenal

patch might work better and you could use Norco for break through pain. Have you

already explored that avenue?

Also, I take 1 Norco 10/325 and I sweat alot.

Now I perhaps have found out why I am always waking up with a wet or

very damp pillow. My bed is just below the window which I keep wide

open at night, even in winter. I take about 6 Norco's (10/325)

daily. Perhaps that is the cause?

Hi Sandy;

I agree, I should be on the patches (Duragesic). Heck, I even got

the card from the manufacturer entitling me to get them free of

charge at my local pharmacy. The problem is.... the pain doc I was

sent to. He wanted to ssssllloooowwwlllyyy increase them from the

beginning of 25 mcg over a couple of months.

I posted about this before, but even trying to explain to him that my

experimentation with 2, then 3 of the 25 mcg patches simutaneously

did the trick (no back pain) he still wanted to go slower. I tried

to explain that I was tired of the dopey/foggy feeling from the

Norco's and that I knew that 75 mcg worth of the patch would be fine

as it was at that dosage that my back did not hurt, and I didn't fell

that dopey/foggy feeling.

Long story short, I am planning on getting the disk problem fixed in

the spring. Hopefully I won't need pain meds for my back anymore.
