Guest guest
Kathy and Beau, For the past four and a half years I've had pseudocysts, so I can truly relate to how you're feeling. I have a large pseudocyst, (6.5 x 6 cm) near the head of my pancreas and one in the tail that used to be very large, that has finally resolved to an unremarkable size. The pain from pseudocyst inflamation can be MOST severe and debilitating, and when it's that bad you just want to die, and can't wait for it to settle down. Going to the hospital and being NPO is really the best way to deal with it, so I'm glad that you did, even though I know it doesn't seem so at the time. Please feel free to join in with us and tell us your story. When you're new to this it can sometimes be overwhelming and it seems as though no one understands, but we do here. Beau, When I was describing my pain with pseudocysts earlier, it seems I neglected to talk about the back pain, or didn't explain it thoroughly enough. YES, YES, YES.....I do get back pain that radiates from the abdomen in the front, through to the back. Oftentimes, the back pain is more severe than the abdominal pain. The pain locations can be different for everyone. I believe it relates to where in the pancreas the pseudocyst(s) are located, and their size. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
