Guest guest
Heidi; Thanks for the warm fuzzies. I have been reading your postings and you seem like a sweetheart. It's nice to know nice people. Is that a saying from the 70's? Yea, that web site and the medications I get have truly changed my life. I did it on a whim, expecting nothing for free, but alas I got free prescriptions; over $500 a month! Hopefully I don't need more. Anyone with MEDICARE.... I would try to get your meds for free through www.pparx.org BEFORE signing up for one of the new Medicare prescription plans. Dick, Sure wish I could do that, but I'm afraid that right now because of my husband's income, I wouldn't qualify. The stickler is that once he retires we would, but then it would be too late. He still has 5 more years left before mandatory retirement, and as long as they consider his income, our " household " income prevents me from qualifying. I'm looking around now for the right Medicare Prescription plan, does anyone have any recommendations? With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth SC State & SE Regional Rep. Guest guest
Hi Heidi, I don't have detailed experience but I hear the best and surest way to pick a plan is to start with your known meds with quantities and current cost. Then get a copy of each plan and test your cost under each plan. I hear a quiet room and at least four hours is a good start. Good luck with that. Best Wishes, Poncho - GA

Good luck with that.Best Wishes, Poncho - GA HAHA.....four hours in a quiet room...guess you didn't know that I have a four month old Westie puppy attached to my feet or lap!! Watching an interview this morning on TV with a Medicare representative, who admitted that even she couldn't figure out all the new changes doesn't help, either! I'm only on page 6 of the Medicare Book that they sent me....still a long way to go....lol With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
