Guest guest
I was wondering what your top 2 favorite SCD cookbooks are so I can prepare a wishlist in lieu of beginning SCD. Thanks so much, hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
Guest guest
My all time favorite is Grain Free Gourmet. I use it all the time. My second would be Healing Little Tummys (I'm not sure if that's the exact name. I loaned my to a friend.) It's a small book, but has some kid friendly foods. Guest guest
THe grainless gourmet looks like the winner for grownups IMO. There is a new one out there Healing Foods for CCCIBDs that I heard was good. Check out the Sneaky Chef - though her recipes are not SCD legal....the purees she does to ADD to her recipes are I think. The green puree into meatballs and meatloaf is fantastic...everyone ate it except the wee man for whom it was intended of course. Jello made with cherry juice and honey was a hit with all except Matt the Hunmger Striker too...The cookbook is better and more useful than J Seinfeld's Deceptively Delicious. I think there is an Indian bloke with an online blof og SCD recipes whose stuff is supposed to be great...we are not there yet as we are still trying to find anything that our ASD guy will eat - he lives on muffins at this time. He just rejected a banana pancake...who hates THOSE. Oh man, tough times, for our house....if you find anything extremely kid friendly please kick it this way.
