Almond milk yogurt, what should it look like?

I just made almond milk yogurt for the first time and I am wondering

what it usually looks like. Mine is like yogurt on top and a yellowy

liquid on the bottom. In the directions it says that if it gets too

hot (above 105) then it may separate and not ferment properly....my

yogurt maker seems to be just above 100.
