Guest guest
How long did you feel sick? Was it just 24 hours? I am still feeling crappy (pun intended) but I can feel the 'plug' moving slowly along in my intestines. Still sneezing a lot too. Too much sugar, in any form, just does me in. Guest guest
I think it was two days at least but the aftermath is--I'm very fatigued but I was before this happened. It just seems worse now--want to sleep a lot. Phenergan also helps a lot for me also. It just makes me woozy. I break it up into quarters. There is a constipation protocol with the electrolyte drink and magnesium or vitamin c supplements. I can't tolerate vitamin C very much but magnesium works well for me. Epsom salts also. If you ask the moderators, they can point you to all the right ways to feel better (some things I mentioned above). I'm sure I have it bookmarked but I have so many bookmarks, I don't want to give the wrong information. I hope you feel better soon, I know it's a misery. Then give your body time to heal after. Btw, that was really sweet about your 6yo asking you to marry him. Really cute :-). Debbie 38 crohn's scd 11 months > > > How long did you feel sick? Was it just 24 hours? That's a good sign. Took garlic and Vit. C yesterday. Did some yoga stretches. Started feeling better in the evening. Now my dh is sick so it must be something going around. Hope you're feeling better each day. Rest and drink plenty of water. (My little guy is a sweetie. He's got this cold, too.)
