This has been a good week

I have been reading the messages off and on for about three weeks. But I

have been paying close attention since 2 Dec, when Dr.R said that I get to

play. We have had a lot of people that have insurance approvals, surgery

approvals, surgery dates set, and great postings from new postops. What a

busy week we all have had. I know there are many who are still struggling to

get their packets done. But the time and effort it takes will be well worth

it in the end.

I just want to say thank you to everyone that posts and for all the support

that is out there. What a great group of people to turn to in a time when

you need it the most.

I leave Anchorage on 8 Jan, surgery is on 10 Jan. I know that there are two

others that have that date. Are there more? I am looking forward to

meeting you all. North Carolina is home for me. It seemed for awhile that

the only reason I was able to go was because someone had died. Now at last,

I will get to go for a great reason.

Again, What a week. I hope next week will be as good. Keep up the work to

all of you that are still preparing for the process. God bless you all.

Hi Teri:

Glad you have your date and something to look forward to..and to be excited

about. I promise you that the weather will be warmer in Durham than where you're

coming from! LOL...it would have to be huh?

Please keep us posted...you have nearly a month to go and it will fly by.
