Guest guest
I've restarted on intro last week and I am determined to go very slow. There aren't many foods on intro he can handle. This is what I have been feeding him. chicken fr green beans 2 cups dripped yogurt He can't have eggs, grape juice, apples carrots or any squashes. Should I try fish or a vegetable? This child is talking, alot of jibberish, alot of repetative things. We are thrilled to hear anything come out of him! He's borderline hyper. But on the other hand he just seems so happy. I am going to try charcoal and see what happens. I added spinach a couple days ago, and last night he wouldn't sleep. Is this a reaction to the spinach. He had loose stools too. I'm thinking it's NOT from the CLO but the spinach. I am stopping the spinach. I want to go slow, but he has to eat. I need to add something back to his diet. He will soon tire of the food. Please any ideas. I don't want to see him backslide again. he is even playing with his tray puzzles again and scribbling. All in all, intro is much more successful this time! These are his supplements multi vit CLO (new for almost 1 week. 1/4 tsp day) Acidophilus potassium iodide enzymes Thank you. It's really nice to know there is help. jo mom to 9 seizures, autism
Guest guest
is it organic spinach? all things organic is important. Also myself we only do Nordic naturals fish oils because they have been cleaned and never any fish or seafood because of the mercury content. The website has some great ideas on the recipes how about peanut butter. I will either make my own or buy organic with no added oils or anything. How about pears can he do that? My son doesn't do well on apples so we juice pears, carrots spinach and parsley. He eats chicken plain, I like to slow cook it then give it to him and it is soft and moist. how about the SCD muffins? --------------------------------- Be a better sports nut! Guest guest
Hi, jo, I think I'd try a vegetable. Zucchini is quite different from the winter squashes. Could he have zucchini? If not, what about pear? mom to -12 SCD 4/23/
Guest guest
> > is it organic spinach? all things organic is important. SCD does not require you to use organic foods. That said, some people who cannot tolerate a food in its " regular " form, find they can tolerate the organic version. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/

She said choosing healthy options like organics was very good but they were not available everywhere and were more costly. ( I use organics whenever possible as I have chemical sensitivities). Guest guest
Hi jo, > > I've restarted on intro last week and I am determined to go very slow. The smaller fishes like cod are nice to start with. If he tolerates it salmon is good because of the omega 3's. I don't tolerate farmed salmon and some have to be careful with it. I use canned pink salmon with no problem (ingrediens: salmon and salt) You could try ripe avocado mixed with ground chicken, form into either meatloaf, meatballs or burgers and bake. They smell wonderful. <<<<This child is talking, alot of jibberish, alot of repetative things. > We are thrilled to hear anything come out of him!>>>> That's wonderful!! Congratulations!! <<<<<He's borderline > hyper. But on the other hand he just seems so happy. I had diluted fresh squeezed Orange juice (with the pulp removed). It may be best to avoid the spinach for a while and try some other things first. When you retry it add the Vit C (fresh fruit or juice with Vit C etc..) and see if it helps.
