Guest guest
I have a question for the group that perhaps some could shed some light on for my wife and I. I have read on at least half a dozen websites the following statement. " Chronic pancreatitis is associated with a reduction in life expectancy. Only half of the patients with a diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis will survive for longer than seven years following diagnosis " How true is this or is it just a crock of s--t. I would really like to know. Thanks in advance, ..........

I don't know the answer - it was my impression that this disease definitely changes the quality of life, but I did not think it was a terminal illness. This scares me half to death. I know there are people here who have had CP for a lot longer than 7 years though. WE NEED TO FIND THE CURE!!!! Blessings,
