Guest guest
I thought I saw a recipe but I can't find it. Is it the same as the applesauce recipe? Thank you!
Guest guest
Hi, , Peal pears and remove seeds, blossom end, stem. Steam in a steamer, or bake in the oven (25 minutes at 350F) or cook in a saucepan with a couple tablespoons of water to get started. If in saucepan, watch heat and stir periodically. When pears are soft, mash, or whirl in blender if you want your sauce very smooth. Put in spices if you like. It will not need any honey. If your sauce is too liquid, you can cook it more on top of the stove or you can put it in a strainer and wait for the extra juice to drip out. mom to -12 SCD 4/23/

Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for posting this recipe for pear sauce. Does it make a difference what kind of pears you use or no? Guest guest
All pears should make a good sauce. I like the flavor of Barletts best, personally. mom to alex-12 SCd 4/23/
