Guest guest
I sent this to this morning, I had to share it with everyone. I had one of those truly awed moments in God's presence this morning. I know some of us believe differently, but we can all understand this message. I found this after finding out yesterday I have to have surgery Dec. 1st. Not quite 5 months after my open sphincteroplasty. So the ole gut has to be cut wide open again. I was down and upset about having to leave my children again. This truly blessed me. I copied it from the email I sent . So , you have already seen this! I am reading a book that has helped me so much, it is called " Can you Stand to be Blessed? " by T.D. Jakes. I got up this morning after a very restless night. (When I am upset and nervous I sleep walk). And this page was opened. This was on it. " For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Proverbs 24:16. The paragraph following that had so many blessing in it. He wrote that, you can't rise until you fall. The enemy wants to lull us into a state of acceptance whereby we consider ourselves unable to alter the circumstances that limit us. However, the just man is successful because he continues to get up. The Holy Spirit challenges us to stand in the midst of contrary winds, and if we stumble to our knees, to grasp the hands of God's grace and arise. God told , " ..my strength is made perfect in weakness. " 2 Cor. 12:9a. Some things we aren't meant to change but to survive it. So, if we can't alter it, outlive it! How awesome and powerful that is! If you get a chance to get this book, get it. It is amazing!
