, I had the same problem with have a obstruction in my

biliary tree of my liver and had the same procedure done as Bert. Mine

was because of the remove of the choledochal cyst.

The question you have about the pain is when you have a bowel movement

does that lessen the pain? If so they did a CT of my biliary tree of

my liver and found the sludge/etc.

Hope you are doing better.....

Thanks Walt, I had a tp-ict amost a year ago and was doing

wonderfully until last may when I had problems with huge incisional

hernias. wWell I have recovered from that and now I have almost

constant RUQ pain, and elsewhere, I am nausea with intermittent

diahrre and constipation. I was feeling not so bad today until I

pulled the garden hose around the yard to water my gardens then it

hit me hard. I also cant wear anything binding at the waiste at all,

it doesn'tmatter how loose it is as soon as I sit down it just kills

me. Foods dont bother me.

I also have a new hernia sitting right beneath the tip of my sternum,

the xypoid process, that sends a burning sensation up the middle of

my chest. The doc is planning on an open hernia repair with lysisi

of adhesions then wrote me tonight that the barium swallow showed

something amis in my stomach where the anastomosis lie. He wants me

to be scoped. Now I am just wondering if any back up of stuff in my

biliary tree could be the culprit. I waas alwayes woried most about

allthese surgeries as to how the anastomis reacts. Our bodies aren't

meant to be reconnected like that.

Anyway thanks for the input I really appreciate it. I want so much

to put all this in the past. I hate the weakenesses, I hate the

drugs, I hate the pain, I hate not being able to do anything and I

hate not being able to look for another job. Maybe I should just

give up on that dream of ever returning to my profession. Sorry

getting a little whiney with this now,,, I'll stop.

Thanks again

For what it is worth, it is in that anastomosis where my primary

obstruction/stone/debris problem is. It is at the anastomosis near the

bifurcation. They used two explosive balloons to open that up and tons

of debris came out.

I wonder if time will show this is a common problem with the TP/ICT?

Who did your TP/ICT?

curious,

Bert/NC
