Guest guest
Eilleen, An ERCp won't give you CP. It can give you a case of Acute Pancreatitis though. Thats different. Chronic takes awhile to get to. Alot of people have several episodes of AP and never get CP and live quite normal lives. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and keep you in my prayers. Sandy in CA -------------- Original message -------------- Hi All, He does not think I have CP. He thinks it is a combo of spaastic colon, stomach problems and costocondritis and other muscle problems on my left side. This would be a BLESSING if that is true!!!!! But he is doing an ERCP onme this Tuesday. I'm terrified of this procedure due to what some of you have experienced. Especially if there is not any CP, couln't this give me CP??? Your thoughts? Guest guest
Hi Sandy! I guess that is what I am afriad of. An acute attack that can be damaging. I have read of people getting them so bad kidneys shut down, etc. He said it's a small chance that would happen and since he doesn't think it's my pancreas causing my pain, it won't happen. I'm not sio sure. I'm terrified! Eileen > > > Eilleen, > > An ERCp won't give you CP. It can give you a case of Acute Pancreatitis though. Thats different. Chronic takes awhile to get to.
