Guest guest
Some children do not tolerate enzymes, and early in the diet you should not use enzymes. It could just be too much for them. I would stop the enzymes immediately. No eggs until the diarrhea stops. B. Guest guest
Thank you so much for your help ! We have been on enzymes for over 3 months- long before SCD, and have never seen a negative reaction. If I stop enzymes, I see a huge increase in tantrums and other negative behaviors. I don't think the enzymes are a problem?? In fact, we are taking less enzymes now (due to little foods to mix them in), and the behaviors are much worse. We did not take enzymes at all during the intro diet. You have inspired me on the eggs though. My kids eat several eggs a day if you include the breads, etc. And now that I think about it the squash also had eggs with it (squash buttons, etc.). Hmmmm maybe back to more of the intro foods of just chicken, turkey, and jello. (With some banana and pear). Thank you so much!
