Guest guest
Hello all, Just to let you know that I saw my FNP today. She didn't understand the mix up with the whole medication thing. She said anyone could tell just by looking at my chart that I am far from a drug seeker. She said to just talk to her next time. Don't go through anyone else. It seems the other FNP in the office isn't allowed to write scripts and she wasn't sure what her problem was calling me a drug seeker but it is clear that I manage my medication with care. My vertigo is just that, Vertigo. Doing blood work to find out if there is infection. She put me on mecklazine, decongestant and nose spray. Said it could be like this for up to 4 months or more. My thyroid is swelling so perhaps it is a infection and with all luck, antibiotics will knock it all out. Thanks for listening to me cry over the weekend. I suppose I shouldn't have worried so about it all, but you tend to when one calls you a drug seeker. Sandy in Ca
Guest guest
One of the funniest moments I've had since this thing started was when the same ER doctor who called me a drug seeker (because I was asking for GI cocktail I may add.Yeah, viscous lidocaine, hard drug there..!!?) was busted for possession (coke and pot) and having sex with a minor. Little, uh, pot and kettle problem *snort*! If I had not been so sick that week I would've gone to the jail and laughed at him. Sorry about your Vertigo. Hope it resolves soon. Guest guest
Sandy I am so very glad that you were able to straighten things out with the FNP. She seems like a good person who is on your side. I hope you got enough of a prescription to help you with your pain. Now here's the things honey, you have to take it. Its best to take the med when you feel the pain is coming on rather then waiting until it is unbearable and then try to bring it down. Please dont be afraid to take the meds you need. I hope your inner ear infection clears up soon. Those are just awful. I have been fighting a cold the last few days, my daughter brought it home. Loading up on the vits and mins and makking sure EVERBODY washes their hands. That is like one of my big pet peeves. Feel better soon and I am so releived for you. Warmly,
