Guest guest
First, my thoughts go out to those on the list in the Mid-West who have been touched by the storm. Well, at 3 pm tomorrow I'll be getting that ERCP. If anyone cares to send a positive thought out around that time to me and the doctors in the room, I'd appreciate it. Take care all, and hopefully be able to check in tomorrow night safe and sound. And in the clear! Eileen in NJ
Guest guest
Good luck for tomorrow Eileen. I know you are scared, its a scarey thing, but it is really not that bad. I have had quite a few and only came out with a mild case of pancreatitis, never had a full blown acute attack from one and they have done all kinds of stuff to my panc. Be sure to tell the nurses as soon as you can that you are difficult to sedate. It may not be the truth but that way you will be sure to get a good dose of what ever it is they use for sedation/anesthesia. There are several different cocktails they can offer. Let us know how it goes as soon as you are abel and know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Warmly, (SC)
