Guest guest
Hello Friends: I just wanted to let you all know that I've been thinking long & hard, for about a year now, and really seriously for about 3 months, about going to the Univ. of Cincy to see if they can do ANYTHING to help me. For 2 days I worked on an e-mail, with all my history & stuff in it, and I e-mailed it to them on Saturday,(11-5-05) afternoon. Well, yesterday (Monday 11-7-05)afternoon I got a phone call from the pancreatic department and she said she received my letter, (referred to it as my " love-letter " , cracked me up!) and after reading it called to see if I wanted an appointment this Wed. or next week. I was shocked! I never even imagined they would get me in that quick! I told her I would take next weeks appointment so I could have time to make arrangements for my twins to get home from school that day. I'm so excited! She said she will send me an e- mail confirming the info, but I haven't received it yet. I'm not sure what doctor I will see, I'm not even sure of any of their names! lol...so that's it! I called Lily to let her know, and she ask if I would e-mail her a copy of my letter, and she is going to send me with a whole bunch of questions. I'm kind of excited about this! I just hope they can do something, anything, to help me! My pain is different here lately. A lot worse, but also just different, its hard to explain really. I've been on the same dose of MS Contin since March/01, so maybe I just need a change in my medication. Who know. But there you have it. I just wanted to share this news with you all! Hope you are having a decent day! Lots of Hugs, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Guest guest
that is exciting news. You are going to love them. I wish I knew the name of the woman you emailed. I saw Dr. s and his nurse is Debbie. She is an absolute hoot and 'love letter' sounds like something she would say. She and I became really good friends during my time back and forth. She is a great nurse. If it is Debbie please tell her I said a big HELLO and I owe her a beer! Let me know how it goes.
Guest guest
Dear , This is wonderful news for you. I'm so glad that you've come to this monumental decision to go ahead and look further for help for yourself. No one should have to deal with the pain that you've had to deal with, and seeing the professionals there could only bring you news that you can do something with. You'll be in my thoughts while this is all going on, and PLEASE let us know what they say afterward! Load yourself up with the questions from Lily.....and find out what can be done! Good luck, girl..! With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
