Guest guest
I would certainly make an issue about this with the hospital administrators. When a patient is transferred from the hospital to the care center transfer orders are written and handed over tot he nrusing staff at the care center. I am a nurse and know this for a fact that this is the way it is supposed to be done. It there any way you can get a copy of his transfer orders off his chart at the nursing center. Then you will be able to find out if it was or was not written. If it was written and not implemented by the care center staff then thats who should be held accountable. You should be able to get a copy of every singel page of his chart if you request it. Also has your husband applied for FMLA at work. It is a the Family Medical Leave Act and it will protect his job. It is very simple to apply just sign a sheet of paper and it goes in his record. Whether or not he will receive pay from this will depend on whether or not he had any sick time accrued or short or long term disability. Also if you have to leave you job in order to properly care for you husband then you can apply for FMLA as well. My gut feeling from reading your post is that maybe if he had gotten the enzymes to help him break downhis foods he might not have had another acute attack. I am saying might not have. I have no way to know for sure, but it sure does sound that way to me and I would be way pissed off if Iwere in your shoes. But thats jut me I hope he gets better soon and can returnt o the warmth of his family and his own bed. If there is anything I can do to help, please dont hesitate.
