Guest guest
Dear All, Well I have GREAT NEWS. My pancreas is free and clear. The specialist ruled that out and believes my discomfort is being caused by the Fibromyalgia in the rib heads (Costocondritis) Irritable bowel and stomach.(My mom and dad have the same problem, so it's inherited) My gallbladder, before it was removed, must have aggravated it previously causing me to be hospitalized. SO, now this allows me to better research and pinpoint a healing regime for the bowel and stomach. I am so very happy about this outcome. You have no idea. Dr. Aram Manoukian at Wood's Uni Hospital in New Brunswick was really funny and warm man, but very, very good at what he does. He is very thorough about the tests, records, everything. I recommend him highly. The cyst had resolved and was gone. The first anesthesiologist was a bit weird, it turned out he left out some important info too. But he left and a new man, an older Chinese man who was so helpful and caring took over my procedure. Dr. Aram said this guy was the best. All clear. Cyst gone. Pancreas healthy, my pancreas is calm as a lake. I am so relieved! Thank you everyone for the prayers!!!! I want to add that I consider this a HUGE gift not to have this disease. I spent a few months with all of you and know the fear, the frusterations and the struggles when you have this disease or in my case, thinking i had it. I DO believe however, I did go through some troubled waters, my pancreas and I, due to the gallbladder. I am just so blessed it resolved itself. I will continue to eat my low fat vegetarian diet and take the pancreas supplements, because it helped and I'm still going to keep an eye out on this organ for the rest of my life. I'm not going to leave the group. I want to be here for someone who may come down the pike with my situation, and be able to offer help. Just as you did for me. Guest guest
> > Dear All, > > Well I have GREAT NEWS. My pancreas is free and clear. .. Wow, I can't imagine the relief you have. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I also was having some radicular pain with it. My pharmacy wrote wrong directions on my naproxen when this happened and I took way too much for about five days, ended up in the ER in the worse pain of my life. Of course at that time, I had no clue I was overdosing on the naproxen. The combination of that tearing up my stomach and intestines, plus the fibromyalgia pain was excruciating. I understand how you felt - I was sure I had pancreatitis at times also - it just seemed so much like Chris's pain. Now that my stomach has healed things are much better. I hope you are soon painfree now that they know the culprit. Please do stay with us. Enjoy your celebration. I am very happy for you. - from Michigan. Guest guest
Hi Eileen, Great news. I'm so glad the tests showed no pancreatitis. I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy. Jim in Vt
Guest guest
Thanks Jim. :-) I'll be honest and say I still wonder though. The specialist this week who did an ERCP and found everything free and clear seems fairly certain I do not have CP. But I still wonder. What if I do have CP but I have no damage because it's so early on?? What if he is just like those other MD's who miss it?? On a lighter note, the plastic thing they put into your mouth to keep it open cut into my lip and I have a bit of an Anjelina Jolie thing going on now. I kind of like it.:-p Eileen > > Hi Eileen, Great news. I'm so glad the tests showed no pancreatitis. I > wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy.
