Hi all,

Chris's doctor is back and he had his visit. If you remember, she was

gone and another doc from the GI service saw him and told him she

thought he didn't have CP and wanted to do an ERCP - etc.

Dr. was totally baffled by what she had told him and

apologized over and over. She is concerned about his liver enzymes

still being elevated and his persistent pain, nausea etc. She has

decided that she wants to do the ERCP to see if there is a blockage

going into the liver or a small duct??? She said she can cut the duct

to allow better drainage. She is having him have a general anesthesia

because he is so hard to sedate adequately and has a good reminder of

being kicked by him last time :) Go Chris!!! just kidding. He's

scared of course, but hoping that they may find something that will

help with his pain. He's been really bad for over a month now. He's

also battling the bronchitis/asthma stuff, the enlarged spleen and low

blood count. Plus, his inability to sneeze finally had his PCP

actually look into his nose and he found a growth that is totally

blocking the nostril - so he is seeing the ENT people for that. He is

back to sleeping all the time, feels like it is mono again. We are

waiting for the test results for that one. When it rains, it pours.

His baby turned one Sunday and had a great time. Thank God for his

boys to keep him going. Will let you know what the ERCP turns up.

For all of you who have been having so much trouble lately, Karyn,

, Mark, etc. you are always in my prayers.
