Guest guest
Yes, I am going to try the " progressive stenting " . I was told that was an option for me before having " open surgery " to fix my panc duct. I have a stricture in it and hope to call my doctor soon to schedule my first stent. I've had the temporary stents before and the last time I had the temporary stent in, it lasted for 3 weeks and I felt pretty good. I didn't have that " pressure build-up " feeling. I am hoping that it works for me. Are you having the same proceudre done too or your daughter? Sorry if I got that mixed up. Take care Kris in TN
Guest guest
Hi Kris, Yes, we think that we're going to do the " long-term " stenting. Her doctor thinks that she has a stricture and that this is a fairly uncomplicated way to address it (compared to a Puestow). GOOD LUCK!!! I hope this works for both you and my daughter!
