(I was 35 at MGB time) It was much easier to do post-op. I even considered waiting in the car next time......yes..........the car! I have no breasts left! I took off my t-shirt after Jazzercise and they literally fell out the bottom of my " sports bra " (Time to get a new bra!) On a serious note, though, I did have an abnormal mammogram. We are tracking an abnormal area, that's probably just a lymph node, but I want to keep an eye on it. So,my point is that even if you don't need a mammo for the MGB,seriously consider having one when you no longer have breasts. It didn't hurt, and could save your life. Going out to buy a new bra, Osler MGB 2/21/00 272/184 88 lbs in 9 1/2 months...slow and steady towards great health(my mantra)
