Guest guest
Poncho, Margret and Heidi! Thanks for the support. I have made an appointment with the doctor at Huddinge Hosp on the 17th of Nov, who actually has me down as " " functional dispepsia " after the 3 years of suspected CP - now outruled by IBS etc. I will get the info on Viokase and try to find more on the site and claim I need Creon or perhaps Viokase if it works the same way?! Thanks GOD I was clever enough to get several painmedprescriptions and got them out of the Pharmacy/ home before the 1st of June this year when we were to be registered at the Pharmacy each time we buy our meds, it will keep me going still several months. I will fight for my Creon, the only way for me to survive. Love to you all from Sonja By the way did anyone ever try the magical MIX this Prof prescribed? Guest guest
I tried Creon and for me Viokase works better. I take Pepcid to reduce my stomach acid so more of the Viokase reaches my small intestine (stomach acid breaks it down) and it goes to work right away as its not coated like the Creon. Everyone is different, however.I've always had a big problem with enteric coated things not working as they should, for example I can't take Oxycontin as it goes though me intact (and gives me no pain relief as a result). Margaret .. I will fight for my Creon, the > only way for me to survive.
